Who controls your information

Valenor Group Limited is the intended data controller for CopyMyTrip. Privacy enquiries and rights requests can be sent to admin@valenorgroup.co.uk.

Information we collect

• Account details such as name, email address, password credentials and creator profile.
• Creator content, including videos, photographs, itinerary details, costs and provider URLs.
• Technical and security data such as IP address, device/browser information and login records.
• Referral data including creator, trip, video, click and partner identifiers.
• Commission, identity, tax and payment records where required for creator payouts.
• Messages, enquiries, complaints and consent preferences.

Purposes and lawful bases

We may process information to perform our creator agreement and provide accounts; pursue legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the platform, preventing fraud and measuring referrals; comply with legal, accounting and regulatory obligations; and, where required, rely on consent for optional cookies or marketing.

Who receives information

Information may be shared only as necessary with WordPress.com/Automattic hosting and security services, approved technology and payment providers, professional advisers, and connected travel providers or affiliate networks. Partner-specific sharing and international transfer safeguards must be documented before activation.

Retention

• Account and approved trip records: while the account is active and normally up to 24 months after closure, unless longer retention is needed.
• Click attribution: normally up to 24 months.
• Commission, payment and accounting records: normally six years after the relevant financial year.
• Unapproved uploads: normally deleted within 90 days after rejection or withdrawal.
• Security logs and support correspondence: only as long as reasonably necessary for security, disputes and legal obligations.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, individuals may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and may withdraw consent where consent is used. Requests will be handled without undue delay and normally within one month. People may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Children

Creator accounts are for adults aged 18 or over. CopyMyTrip is not intended to collect personal information directly from children.
